Oceanbeat

In the 2023 German offshore wind auction, bp was awarded the contract for the development of two wind farms in the North Sea, Oceanbeat East and Oceanbeat West. The wind farms are being developed by JERA Nex bp and expected to deliver approximately 4GW of potential generating capacity at the beginning of the next decade, helping to meet the considerable demand for green electricity.
