Oriel

Oriel wind farm is expected be Ireland’s first fully operational offshore wind farm. The project covers 24 km² in the Irish Sea, 22 km off the coast of Dundalk, Ireland. Its turbines are expected to add up to approximately 375 megawatts in capacity to power, the equivalent of approximately 300,000 households. Oriel wind farm is being developed by JERA Nex bp along with ESB, Ireland’s leading electricity utility majority owned by the Irish Government.
