Our priorities are the safe and efficient operation of our existing portfolio and delivery of our pipeline. We have more than fifteen years of experience in operating offshore wind projects and strong track record of delivering projects safely and on schedule.
Operational excellence
We are an end-to-end developer, owner and operator, fully equipped and focussed on delivering our projects to the highest levels of O&M excellence. We have the competences to cover O&M throughout a project’s entire life cycle and our extensive portfolio enables us to share synergies across projects.
Innovative developer with scale
JERA Nex bp brings together a highly experienced team with global access and the local market insight necessary to succeed in the industry. Our team has more than fifteen years of experience in developing offshore wind projects globally, including as the first mover in several markets.
Our portfolio of operating assets and development projects has a total net potential generating capacity of approximately 13GW. This includes around 1GW of installed net generating capacity, around 7.5GW development pipeline and 4.5GW of potential generative capacity from additional secured leases.

History
JERA Nex bp was formed as a 50:50 joint venture between JERA and bp in July 2025.
bp and JERA have a long history of partnership. JERA Nex bp combines both companies’ breadth of skills, uniting JERA’s expertise in delivering and safely operating offshore wind projects with bp’s development portfolio and experience in offshore energy.
